Courtney Frerichs, representing Nike Bowerman Track Club, placed eighth in her debut in the women's 10,000 meters in 31:23.13 at the second edition of Sound Running's The Ten at JSerra High in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. Frerichs was one of nine female athletes to earn the World Championships standard.
